The Brief

Combined Super’s communications did little to back up the Fund’s value proposition of personal service. The Board and CEO recognised the importance of a strong brand in achieving a sustainable future and asked us to help.


Transform worked with the Fund’s Board and senior management to develop and implement a brand refresh that included:

  • detailed member, employer and competitor analysis, member focus group research and mapping the member and employer experience
  • a new name, positioning tagline, visual identity and messaging
  • new look, more concise Annual Report, PDSs and information documents
  • regular age-segmented communications specific to member’s personal interests and targeted communications and campaigns
  • easy reference employer support materials
  • a new-look website.

  • Members say the content more closely addresses their personal interests.
  • Enquiries about the Fund’s benefits and services have also steadily increased, particularly its advice services.
